Luckily, hiding your subscriber count on YouTube is easy. We’ll show you how to do so from your computer, tablet, and smartphone in this article.

How to Hide Your Subscriber Count on YouTube

The process for hiding your subscriber count on YouTube is somewhat similar on your computer and tablet. Below, we’ll show you how to do it for both.

Computer

To hide your YouTube subscriber count from your computer, you’ll first need to open your web browser. Then, go to YouTube and sign in with your Google account. Once you’ve logged in to YouTube, click on your profile picture in the top right-hand corner and select YouTube Studio.

When you’ve reached your studio, click on the Settings tab. Then, select Channel > Advanced Settings.

In the Advanced Settings section, scroll down until you see Subscriber count. Untick the box and press Save.

Your subscriber count is now invisible to the public, but you can still see it in your analytics.

Tablet

If you want to hide the subscriber count from your tablet, go to YouTube on a web browser. You can get to your studio by typing studio.youtube.com into the web address bar.

In the YouTube studio, go to Settings > Channel > Advanced Settings. Like on the computer, scroll down to Subscriber count and untick the box before clicking Save.

Can You Hide Your YouTube Subscriber Count on Your Smartphone?

You cannot use the YouTube app to hide your subscriber count from your smartphone, but doing so is possible from the web browser.

The steps are pretty much identical to doing so from your tablet. Type studio.youtube.com into the web address bar and sign in to your account. Then, select Continue to Studio. Navigation will be a little irksome because the YouTube studio isn’t properly optimized for smartphone devices, so you might need to zoom in or out to find certain settings.

After logging into your account, go to Settings > Channel > Advanced Settings > Subscriber count. Then, untick the box.
